Resumen
VM142, a 3-page fact sheet by Amanda M. House, describes this asthma-like condition in horses, how it is detected, and how it is treated. Includes references.
Since this article was originally published in July 2009, the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine proposed that the various inflammatory and hyperreactive airway conditions causing cough in horses be characterized under the term “equine asthma.”
