Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format. The text is single-spaced; uses 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal. Submissions do not need to be anonymized for peer review. Please include author names on the manuscript.
- Includes a statement indicating the intended audience and purpose.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided. You can look up DOIs at https://doi.crossref.org/simpleTextQuery
- If the submission recommends or mentions non-native plant species, authors have consulted the IFAS Assessment for the current conclusions (http://assessment.ifas.ufl.edu/)
- REVISIONS: All current and former authors (as necessary) approve any changes in authorship.
UF/IFAS Citrus Research and Education Center

Featured Creatures Collection
This section includes EDIS copies of content published in parallel on the Featured Creatures website at http://entnemdept.ufl.edu/creatures.
Founded in 1996, Featured Creatures provides in-depth profiles of insects, nematodes, arachnids and other organisms. The site is a cooperative venture of the University of Florida's Entomology and Nematology Department and the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services' Division of Plant Industry.

Program Materials & Translations
Extension Creative Works include Program materials and translations which are based on source docuuments that have been peer reviewed and supported in EDIS.
Management Publications
Provides most current UF/IFAS management recommendations to target audiences.
Primarily consist of IFAS recommendations and/or conveniently arranged tabular data.
Specific handbooks or series may have designated editors.
Minimum of two technical peer reviews required. Internal and external reviewers that have been selected by the corresponding author’s Department/Center editors.
Internal reviewers should include at least one UF/IFAS specialist who can provide expert review on content.
External reviewers should review content and include at least one individual with expertise in the subject matter who is not employed by the home Department/Center.
Must receive administrative approval of Center Director, Department Chair, and UF/IFAS Extension Program Leader(s) before publication.
Reviewed and/or revised annually by relevant Extension working group.
