Resumo

The complete life cycle of Oressinoma typhla Doubleday, [1849] and the morphology of its immature stages are described. Biological and ecological information is provided for each stage, and its host plant is identified as Cyperus involucratus (Cyperaceae) in the mountains of northern Venezuela.
