    The Editors of the Society of Florida Archivists Journal (SFAJ)  are delighted to announce that as of today the first three pieces of Volume 2 Issue 1 (2021) of SFAJ are now published online! Of course, there will be further announcements when new articles and reviews are added to this issue in the coming weeks and months.   • Society of Florida Archivists Journal Inaugural Issue Debuts!

    The Editorial Board is delighted to announce that as of today Volume 1 Issue 1 of the Society of Florida Archivists Journal is now published online! You can find it at the Current Issue tab above. 

    After many months of laying the groundwork for the Journal’s infrastructure -- building out the website, creating an Editorial Board, requesting and reviewing submissions, revising content through a full peer review and editorial process, and formatting the issue’s type and layout -- we finally have a finished product. It took us longer than we thought, since we had some major delays and setbacks (including a few hurricanes!), but we pulled it off. 

    I must express my sincere gratitude to the entire editorial team for their hard work and dedication in getting the Journal off the ground – a HUGE thank you to my co-editor, Tomaro Taylor; our Layout Editor, Hannah Davis; our copy editors, Andrea Malanowski and Jinfang Niu; and our peer review coor-dinator, Rachel Simmons.

    Together we learned a lot by putting this first issue together and now we’re ready to start creating the next one!
