Resumo

Several Authors have pointed out that X iphinema neoamericanum Khan et Ahmad, 1975 is a junior homonym of X. neoamericanum Saxena, Chhabra et Joshi, 1973. The species is therefore renamed X. il1aequale nom. nov.
