Abstract

Panama City Beach, FL has seen major changes since the housing boom of the early 2000’s. The condominium market has almost doubled and in response the city has planned major changes to the transportation and building infrastructure. This paper examines the potential impacts these changes will have on the culture and future of Panama City Beach. In addition, interviews were conducted to obtain various perspective of the city from public and private citizens.
