Abstract

This article reports on the preparation of a CD-ROM featuring movie sequences of laboratory demonstrations in particle technology together with explanatory text.  Topics covered include flow patterns in hoppers, fluidization, hindered settling, gas cyclones, dust explosions, pneumatic transport, size and density segregation and stresses in particulate solids.  The topics are easily navigated using the mouse-activated buttons.  The CD-ROM is intended for use by students in their own time or by the educator in the classroom.
