The early stages of Chorinea licursis (Fabricius, 1775) are described and illustrated. Larvae feed on Maytenus ilicifolia (Celastraceae). We compare the fifth instar and pupa of C. licursis to closely related species, and provide observations on wing color variation in adult Chorinea.
