Abstract
Very little is known about the ecology and behavior of the strictly African Cerautola species (Lycaenidae: Epitolini). Nearly nothing has been published about their early stages until now. This paper summarizes the results of a study of three species of the genus from Ghana, including descriptions of their myrmecophilous relationship with Crematogaster ant hosts. Detailed descriptions of the early stages are presented here for the first time.
