Abstract
In preparation for the treatment of Myrtaceae for the Flora of the Venezuelan Guayana, two new combinations {Eugenia yatuae, Myrcia intonsa) and 12 new species are presented {Calyptranthes conduplicata, Calyptranthes nigrescens, Eugenia conduplicata, Eugenia magna, Marlierea convexivenia, Marlierea foveolata, Marlierea mcvaughii, Marlierea subcordata, Marlierea ventuarensis, Myrcia kylistophylla, Myrcia liesneri, Myrciaria puberulenta), as well as notes on species distribution and circumscription.
