THE TRICHODORIDA (NEMATODA) IN THE VINEYARDS OF THE PROVINCE OF TREVISO

Abstract
A survey of Trichodorid nematodes was carried out in the vineyards of the Province of Treviso. Two species of Trichodorus were found. The most widespread was T. viruliferus Hooper, which occurred throughout the northeastern part of the Province. T. sparsus Szczygiel was found only in the western part. Species of Paratrichodorus were never detected. Biometrical characters of the species and brief comments on their bio-ecology are provided.
