The role of distance in the migration of retirees to St. Petersburg, Florida
Abstract
The participants in post-retirement migration constitute a small proportion of the total aged population, yet their residential flows have created numerous social science research issues. The very fact that the favorite destinations of interstate aged migrants have been concentrated in the warm weather states of the South, the Southeast, and the West is intriguing.
