The Future of Engineering Education – Revisited
Abstract
This paper revisits the landmark CEE series, “The Future of Engineering Education”, published in 2000 (available free in the CEE archives on the internet) to examine the predictions made in theboriginal paper as well as the tools and approaches documented. Most of the advice offered in the originalvseries remains current. Despite new scientific knowledge about teaching and learning, reform ofvengineering education remains elusive. A short guide to the pertinent literature is provided.
