Michael Cook is Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He received his AB degree in chemistry from Occidental College, his MPhil in chemistry from Imperial College, London, and his PhD in chemical physics from Harvard University. His research area is the application of electronic structure theory to problems of engineering interest.
